I don't watch much anime, the japanese voices are usually too high or they talk to fast and it gets fucking annoying. So because of that I'm alot more willing to read mangas.
Right now I've been reading
Berserk
GTO
Yotsuba&!
XXXHOLiC
Death Note
And I can't find many good new series lately. _________________

I like Full Metal Alchemist too, although I haven't really seen much of it. Mostly episodes here and there that were on Adult Swim. |

As much as I hate to admit it I watched Death Note and enjoyed it. Even though the series kinda tapered off when
[spoilers]
L freakin died. I mean WTF he was the best character
[/spoilers]
It got kinda confusing and I almost lost track of what was going on.....
The ending was good though and Light and Amane were both great characters. _________________

The only Mangas i've read is the Battle Royale one which I thought was awesome, and the WoW ones which were a bit shit.
Any ideas on where I should start? _________________

Wait what?!?! you hate admitting you love one of the best animes/ mangas in the history of the world?!?! Your a madman!
and to justaddwater
death note would be a good start really, if you like suspense and all that, full metal panic and rurouni kenshin would be good for action, maybe history's strongest disciple kenichi. elfen lied and school days are romance i guess.... well elfen lied is more about action with some weird ass romance... _________________

I'm back and forth with watching anime; if I have episodes I watch them all at once (or at least try to).
The last series I watched was Serial Experiments Lain which I thought was excellent. I have to watch it again though to understand it to a better extent. Not as fast paced (action wise) as most anime but the story is amazing.
Other recent ones I have seen are Higurashi no naku koro ni/kai, Elfen Lied, and Gantz which are all violent but all of them have different aspects to them. Higurashi and Elfen Lied I thought were both pretty good, although the ending to Kai was a bit too much for me, and Gantz, I was kind of disappointed with.
I'd rather not list all of the anime I've seen because even though it's not a huge list, I'd have to really think about it to remember most of it. |

Right now the only anime ive liked so far are Death Note and Devil May Cry. I've also seen both movies for Death Note(pretty good for an Anime-RL conversion) |

It's a mystery.
Also take note that most of those pictures are over a year old so it shows a lot of my old stuff in the background. :p |

I remember back when Adult Swim was Toonami Midnight Run, where they aired uncut versions of DBZ, Big O, Outlaw Star, Cowboy Bebop and Gundam. Those were the days. Also the Cowboy Bebop movie is amazing. _________________
