I don't know who that is of or what it is from, but if it wasn't guaranteed to be over $100, this would start my figurine collection. ... maybe.
I'm actually not as much of a rabid anime watcher as some people seem to believe. These are the only series I have downloaded.
-Seto No Hanayome
-Utawarerumono (Highly recommended watch)
-2x2=Shinobuden
I've also watched
-Chobits (Good while pre-emotions)
-Gravitation (:3)
-Cardcaptor Sakura (A little pedo for my tastes)
-Kodomo no Jikan (WAAAAYYY too pedo for my tastes)
-bits and pieces of a lot of other stuff.
Yeah, you can keep your Bleach and orange douchebag ninja and over 9000 and trap card and dancing whores.
I'm not currently watching anything right now, but I do take forever to watch a series, let alone pick one out to watch. I try to spread it out to get the maximum enjoyment out of it as opposed to watching it in two days.
What is great, is when I decide anime to watch based on what I've seen in /h/. :3 |

her name is Nagi and she's form a Hentai game.
None of my figures cost me over 100 even with shipping. They average (with EMS shipping charges) is anywhere from 60 - 90 bucks. |

I'm more in to anime movies. Princess Monokee, Spirited Away, Castle in the Sky, Howl's Moving Castle, Paprika, Cowboy Bebop: The Movie... Those are some good ones. I always thought the movies were more interesting because they have more interesting plots than shows like Narauto (I didn't spell that right ) Inuyasha, Bleach, etc. There was this one anime series, it was really good but I can't remember it! Damn! It was a really cool anime DVD I bought ... I think it's the Twelve Kingdoms.. I dunno. _________________

Fullmetal Alchemist is the only anime series to have truly captivated me...when they were airing the dubbed versions on Adult Swim as FUNimation was releasing them, it was fricking painful to wait for the next episode to air. (the only reason I didn't want to go out and get the subtitled version off the interweb, is that I actually liked the voice actors for Ed and Al.)
Aside from that, Elfen Leid and Gantz are top on my list, as well as .hack//SIGN.
Also, no one seems to have mentioned Hellsing. No love for a dual-handgun wielding demon-vampire? |

Just a quick question, I don't usually like much anime myself. But, once I was watching one that a friend has gotten and it was really good:
- It was like 4 or 5 episodes of about 20 minutes each.
- Each of the episodes was kind of creepy (like Twilight Zone sort of)
- One episode has astronauts in the future exploring a derelict spaceship and then things started to get really crazy.
- One episode has a man who has developed a toxic stench around him, and he becomes a threat and the military comes after him.
- One episode focuses on the life of a small boy who lives in some strange dystopian militarized future, in a fortress-city on wheels, full of guns.
- One episode...I don't remember the rest of the episodes.
That's basically it, if anyone knows what this one is called, it would be greatly appreciated. _________________

CCS is far from pedo, and no matter what anyone says, I fucking loved that series. Despite it being obscenely cute, it did more or less everything right.
Oh, and fuse, nice figurines you got there. I can't imagine what you do with them at night
And in other news...

For example, right now, I'm in the middle of finishing up The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. However, I started watching the series like... 4 months ago. I got through 9 episodes, then all of a sudden, bam, a mysterious hiatus. This kills me too, as it's only 14 episodes long (as of now).
I'll probably finish it within the next few weeks... yay winter break. |
... I have made completely no progress on Melancholy! |

For some reason I sort of don't have the patience to watch an entire series. The only ones I've ever watched the entire way through was Furi Kuri/FLCL [6 eps. lawl.] and Outlaw Star [Saw it when I was 8, remembered it last year, dld = yay.] I watched some parts here and there of Chobits [which was also really good] but besides that not much else. _________________

[spoilers]
This kid was piloting some giant robot and saying how he was trying to protect some girl by defeating some other robot. Well that girl is somehow connected to that robot so as he was beating the shit out of it he KILLED HER LMAO.

If that really is the one I saw then I laughed a lot at what happened. _________________
